This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit rayocook.com (the “Site”), contact us, submit forms, or interact with our advertising.

When you fill out a contact form, request a quote, or schedule a service appointment, we may collect:

2.2 SMS / Text Message Opt-In
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from us, we collect your phone number and a record of your consent. We offer two opt-in methods:

Keyword opt-in: Text JOIN to our shortcode as displayed on our website and in-store signage. By texting JOIN, you consent to receive promotional messages from Ray O. Cook Heating & Air.
Website opt-in: Check the SMS opt-in box on our online contact or scheduling form at rayocook.com. The opt-in checkbox is never pre-checked. Consent is entirely voluntary and is never required to submit a service request, complete a transaction, or create an account.
The opt-in disclosure shown on our website at the time of sign-up reads: “Check this box to receive exclusive deals and promotions via text. Up to 4 msgs/month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. 


In-store signage also promotes keyword opt-in and displays full disclosures: message frequency, “Message and data rates may apply,” opt-out instructions, and links to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. A publicly accessible image of opt-in signage and mockups is available upon request.
Message frequency: Up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages will be sent. For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@rayocook.com.
We do not share your SMS opt-in data or phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. SMS consent data is never sold, rented, or transferred for external marketing use.

SMS opt-in records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years in compliance with applicable telecommunications regulations. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
